Tamkeen is New York University’s partner in the UAE, enabling NYU Abu Dhabi’s ongoing development as a local and global center of academic excellence and community engagement.
From a landmark campus on Saadiyat Island, NYUAD offers over 1,800 students from around 120 countries the finest liberal arts and sciences education across 25 majors. Its new model of higher education leverages NYU's 15 global network sites to provide an immersive, cross-cultural experience equipping students for an increasingly interconnected world.
With 16 Rhodes Scholars in just eight graduating classes, the UAE’s highest Nature Index rank for top science publications, and world-class arts and sports facilities, NYUAD draws from and contributes to Abu Dhabi as a dynamic hub for knowledge, innovation and creativity.

Tamkeen facilitates community engagement with the NYUAD Campus and welcomes its use by UAE and international organisations for high-quality activations.
With more than 30 unique spaces, including world-class performing arts venues, conference facilities and sports grounds, the Campus regularly hosts key-note talks and summits, exhibitions and performances, sporting events, as well as conferences of all kinds. Landmark events welcomed to Campus include:
